Going Green? Go SLC!

In this modern age where conservation is the key to nearly everything, I’ve come to realize that Salt Lake City is the PERFECT city for those who have gone, are going, or are planning on going at least somewhat green. The urban are is literally 10-15 blocks from the suburban area, making the walk to and from many areas quite simple. If you still need transport, there are some great scooter dealers in Utah, as well as hybrids and the like. Plus, the gas is still nowhere near as expensive as the national highs (but don’t expect anything amazingly cheap! It’s just not possible these days!)

If you simply like to admire others’ conservational efforts, then this is still the city to do it in! We’ve got some fantastic, lush green parks to enjoy, as well as many urbanite trees to help us clean the air. Plus, nearly every suburban lawn is perfectly manicured with quite a few trees in the neighborhoods. If you’re a runner like me, or have been thinking about getting started, you need clean air to breathe, don’t you?? Well all those trees and plants filter all they can to make some nice oxygen to keep you going.

I’ve only begun to scratch the surface, but the benefits are quite tangible! It’s a fantastic city to come to!
